Ughhh I just want it to be summer so I can wear my birks or better yet walk around barefoot, and be tanned and wear shorts and sleeveless tops, and have nice sunglasses and not wear makeup, and have crazy summer nights that I’ll always remember, and meet cool people and try new things, and have a summer romance and eat McDonalds at 2am with my best friends, and accidentally spend a few nights in Julien’s car, and Bluesfest every day, and CAMPPP and canoe trips with Ian and Isabel and life chats with Aiden, and to just hop on a bus downtown whenever I please, and spending long nights in suburbia with Beth and Liam, and have interesting adventures with Clark, and have lolz nights with Jaq Emma and Hanna, questionable road trips to the cottage and camping out, having a sweet sixteen 6 months late, classy night downtown with Hanna, and laughing till we couldn’t breathe, no crying, no worriesssss, just the warm summer air, a drink in my hand, and my friends by my side in the city that I’ve grown to love so much. Wow, the nostalgia is real.

Dylan
Wow. Tonight, my cousin Dylan Johnson came over for dinner. This was the first time we'd ever met. He's 28, quite handsome, and my only male cousin. We had a fabulous steak dinner and talked for 3 hours about our lives. Dylan is a backpacker, and travels all over the world doing crazy amazing things. He's been e v e r y w h e r e. During the summer, he moves back home to Saskatchewan to work. I believe he builds houses. Yeah. Anyways, he was telling us all about his trips to Columbia, Indonesia, Australia, India, China.. You name it. He's found a passion, which is diving. Scuba diving, that is. He had an amazing story about how a giant 30ft whale shark swam right up to him while he was exploring a ship wreck, and he grabbed onto the whale shark's fin and they swam away together. What. I want to do that. He's so interesting and has experienced soo much! I'm really upset because I've been doing an Anthropology assignment and couldn't spend the whole evening with him. This is upsetting because I most likely won't see him for AT LEAST 5 years. Maybe he'll be at my wedding. Wow. What a night! I have a cool fam.

Sigh
Laying in my bed with a cup of camomile tea makes me think of my childhood. From grade 1 to grade 3, my mother and I would sit on her bed every night before dad got home from work. We would watch the bugs bunny and tweety show, then Spider-Man on teletoon, then we would drink "sleepy time" tea and read Nancy Drew. Those are some of my favourite memories with my mom. It was right after she came out of her 3 year long depression, so it was basically the first memory I have of us bonding. Oh, how easy life was back then. Nostalgic.

Tumblr
This is my blog on tumblr. I use it mostly to communicate through others. All of the art, photographs, phrases, dreams, regrets, pain, and beauty that I reblog, means something. Everything means something, whether it be direct or not, it links back to deep inside my head. My tumblr.

Done
Still doesn't seem real, I'm done school! Actually, I finished last week but for some reason my post didn't upload. A lot has happened already, and time is flying wayyy too fast. After that treacherous English exam last Monday, Beth invited me downtown for a day of supposed cupcake and fruit eating in the park. This is not what happened. That afternoon gathering soon turned into a week-long excursion with new people, and new places.
After our most lovely lunch at Zak's Diner, Beth, Liam, Julien, Elliott and I went out walking around the market. We were easily amused by how much the art museum resembled crystal meth, and then decided to head back home. Not my home, mind you. We ventured to Orleans to drop off Elliott, and pick up some overnight essentials for Beth and I back at the house. We made yet another stop along the way, all the way in Rockcliff to pick up this Clark character. With this now full car of people, we picked up some food and went to Julien's. To be honest I'm getting really tired of reminiscing and recalling this event, and it's making me frustrated quite frankly. Moral of the story is we had a of fun that night as a group, and same goes for the next few days with them.

So soon, yet so far
Summer is only 186 hours away. Internally crying. It's a rainy Sunday afternoon, and all I've done after church is introduce myself to Vampire Weekend, eat pancakes and French fries, catch up on Arrested Development, and nap. It's also Father's Day! I'll do my laundry, make Lyle a card, and study for exams after this post.
I had a fun time yesterday doing what felt like kicking off the summer, but in reality I still have another week. Oh. Anyways, my church worship team had a nice little gathering in the country where we swam, bonfired, ate s'mores, and most obviously jammed. A day spent with Josiah, Zach, Jeremie, Lauren, Nate, and many more, is a day well spent. First swim of the yeaaaarrrr!!
Later on that night, Hanna, Jaq (Jacob), and Emma came over... And this was the first time Jacob had ever been over. We made lots of funny vids and laughed so hard we all got headaches. Don't try to made a human table ps. We then drove Jaq home because Hanna has her g2 which is so very helpful, and convinced Emma to sleep over. Us three girls ended up outside on the porch with an impromptu "bonfire", some drinks, and talked about religion for 2 hours. Emma is an atheist who leans towards patheism, while Hanna and I are both strongly convinced Christians in an evangelical bible gospel setting. It was really interesting, but at 2am we were pooched and decided to call it a night. I'm just holding on the the truth that I only have to get through s e v e n more days, and then I'm Free Willy for two whole months. Sooooo joyous
